As the newest community college in Florida, Pasco/Hernando Community College mixes a traditional focus on teaching with state-of-the-art programs high-tech educational facilities.

With campuses located in rural settings, Pasco/Hernandez provides personalized attention, faculty who are highly credentialed, an honors program for the academically gifted and manageably small class sizes at an affordable price. Our AA program  gives students a foundation in arts and sciences with majors in business, teaching, social and behavioral sciences as well as engineering . Our Associate in Arts degree also comes with guaranteed admission as a junio .into one of Florida’s 11 public universities

Pasco/Hernandez also offers AS and certificate programs for over 30 careers which are in high demand including law, healthcare, business, and human services.  We have technical programs planned and taught by experts in their fields using the latest technology and equipment. These programs can be finished in two years or less. Ninety percent of all graduates start working in their chosen professions.

Here at PHCC, we provide opportunity for students of all abilities and ages. We have an “Open Door” policy welcoming all GED recipients and high school graduates. We also offer GED prep classes to prepare students who test for the GED diploma. PHCC is a public-supported state college and as such its fees are generally lower than most other colleges and universities. About 60 percent of all PHCC students receive some financial assistance based on need and/or merit.

Pasco/Hernando provides day, evening, weekend and online classes for convenience of those adults who work.
